When Mr. Johnny Fadlalla spoke to me if I would support young fashion designers in Lebanon, I did not hesitate. I accepted the post of Head of jury in the competition "BEIRUT YOUNG FASHION DESIGNERS COMPETITION”.

Winner of this competition will get an internship in my atelier in Beirut. For this event, I prepared a new collection “UNIVERSE" and I would like to devote it to young designers. When I received in Europe, in 2002, the National Award “Frantisek Kupka” for graphic expression in fashion, I was inspired by this artist and created according to his imagination a Couture Collection “Cosmic World”. Now after thirteen years, I returned to this theme with other experience. I want to give a message for young designers, that only the talent is not enough. They need to keep working on themselves, promote self-education and move with the time. People today are asking for practical multifunctional, but original creative collections. In my new collection, I want to show this and motivate young designers. It is necessary to respond to today's requirements and the luxurious Couture Creations to come up with practical needs, original output and promotion of new technologies. It is beautiful when a man can do the work that he likes, but must strive to innovate and respond to the requirements of the current period. I am very glad that thanks to the 35 years’ experience in Lebanon I can create and do such amazing work, which fills me and also gives me the opportunity to communicate with the world and also motivate others.
