30th Anniversary Exhibition
Combining unmistakable charm of Art Nouveau billiard and card rooms of the Municipal House and exclusive Blanka Matragi’s Haute Couture models, the designer made a unique cocktail that will amaze your senses. Respected fashion designer and the Municipal House leadership decided to join the designer’s 30th anniversary celebration on one side with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Municipal House, place that was built to connect people, on the other. The “Timeless” entitled exhibition presents section of designer’s creation, dresses borrowed by royal families of the Persian Gulf, documents mapping behind the scenes of each model, glass reliefs, sculptures and many other design objects. The exhibition was opened to the public on the 7th October 2011 and since that time it was visited by tens of thousands of people. If you want to taste scents of the Orient and feel the atmosphere of luxury, you can do so daily from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. at the Municipal House, where the exhibition will run.
